Through the Lavender Door is a self-indulgent joint project by two gay women, a & l (that’s us) who are in a long-term, long-distance relationship. We came together over a shared love of stories and tabletop games.

This blog initially was proposed as a way to start writing fiction again, but it’s also a chance to read and edit one another’s work. we will feature original fiction in a shared anti-canon setting (that might loosely be called ‘portal fantasy’), and updates about our tabletop rpg system called “keep.”

This is for us, but also for all the people who would walk thousands of miles to get back to one another, over and over.
